Fabulous Working Ladies Take Ownership of Former Arthouse Austin

Austin, TX – July 4, 2017 – Shari Arnold, founder of the Fabulous Working Ladies (FWL), is the new owner of the former Arthouse Austin and the name has been changed to Anderson Terrace, Event & Wedding Venue. The premier event center is now accepting bookings for multiple types of events.

“I have always had the vision to have a FAB House for all FAB girls and the community to come to hang out, have a place to work their events and parties, and do our charity work,” said Arnold. 

Located at 11505 Anderson Mill Rd. in NW Austin. 

The center will be a popular venue for weddings, retirement parties, family reunions, corporate events and celebrations of all types. Workshops, classes, senior activities, and a wide range of charitable events, along with activities for kids and pets, luncheons, happy hours, and other community-related events.

“Anderson Terrace will also become a theater production and music venue with Karaoke, open mic, and live music – a place for two-stepping, swing dancing clubs and other types of entertainment,” said Arnold.

The Austin-based FWL chapter is part of a nation-wide organization with 6,800 members in Austin, with chapters throughout Texas in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Hill Country, New Braunfels, and Fort Worth.

The lease of the event venue by Arnold provides the Fabulous Working Ladies and the public with additional opportunities to serve the community and provide family-friendly activities. The organization is well-known for its charitable events that honor the military and supports women with cancer and cancer survivors.
